Ability to return home

Every week, we take the opportunity to eat with the office missionaries. This is such a blessing in our life. We are united in the efforts of bringing others to Christ. I try to make delicious food. They bring a spirit in our home that can't be found any other way.  This week we learned about the Plan of Salvation. The Lord has provided a way for us to have joy in this life, and an ability to return home to our Heavenly Father.  That way is through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

"Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh, and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself." 2 Nephi 2:27

"Adam fell that men might be; and men are that they might have joy." 2 Nephi 2:25

If you want to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ, please let us know. There are missionaries near you that would love to teach you more.

Last week, we opened three apartments for incoming missionaries.  We are becoming efficient having already opened 15-20. It takes us about 4-5 hours to open an apartment. It includes moving boxes, hanging curtains, washing dishes (used dishes from previously closed apartments), unpacking furnishings, assembling beds, chairs, desks, fans, etc. President and Sister Halvorson treat us to a yummy Japanese lunch which is super nice. Elder Allan says, "I just come for the food." 😂

Yesterday, we invited a friend to eat dinner with us. Then we shared a spiritual message. After dinner, we went on a walk along the river and invited people to the Free English Connect class that will be starting at the church this week. We are loving our mission.

May God bless you in your life. We love you.
